Minster Fine Foods formed in 1993 in the picturesque town of ‘Minster’ on the Isle of Sheppy, Kent. Ann & Richard Burbidge started the business as commissioned agents for two Belgian producers Polca Pate and Vlevy Cooked Meats.

As the business grew Ann & Richard developed relationships with new suppliers from other parts of Europe and started to sell a more comprehensive range of delicatessen products. Including Danish, German, Spanish and Italian delicatessen meats.

In 1996 the office was moved to the Bourne/Stamford area where it is still based today. In 1999 the current Managing Director, Ellyot Doyle, joined the business and helped to develop a range of Pizza Toppings and Meat ingredients. This added a new dimension to the range of products and contributed to the continued growth of the business.

Over the last decade the business has continued to grow into all areas of the food industry from retailers to ready meal producers. We have achieved this by maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers. Our focus for the future is to grow in our core area of food service as well as increasing market share in the above areas.

Our focus for the future is to maintain our service levels to all our customers, to grow all areas of our business and more importantly to increase market share.

To celebrate our 20th Birthday we embarked on a rebranding project to freshen our image and prepare us for the next 20 years!
